Review content:
Fixed the short in my tail lights circuit for a decent price. I just believe that whoever he had working on my car accidentally touched something electrical which caused me to have transmission problems as soon as I drove it from the lot. The car wouldn't start in first gear!!! They suggested that I take it back to whoever I had working on my transmission 1.5 years ago even though the problem didn't happen UNTIL I PICKED IT UP FROM THEM. I ended up taking my car to a transmission shop who charged me a lower diagnostic fee of $95 rather than the $130 that Brea Auto Electric charges. This wasn't even an ""electric shop"" but the guy found a burned ""transmission"" fuse in the same fuse box that brea electric had changed out a fuse and no hardwear damage luckily from me driving it 5 miles starting in 2nd gear to the tranmission shop. The transmission works again but now I'm out $95 more than planned. Mike was upset AT ME and had no problem denying me the extra $95 I had to pay to have the iatrogenic electrical problem fixed by the transmission guys. I feel like they are capable of ""good business"" but not quite there yet. I understand things happen in a shop sometimes, but be man enough to admit it and take care of your customers if you want them to come back. Honesty is important.
