A friend of mine suggestedmDr.nMark Josovitz about 3 years ago when my family had just moved to the area. Initially, I was very happy with Dr. Mark & the clinic. However, after the first couple of appointments I realized that he ran what seemed very much like a cattle line, which completely changed my view of the care I was receiving. Since that time, I have waited long periods of time in the waiting room, just to get in, get a pat on the back while he listened to the tv out one ear, be told ""I'm gonna take good care of you"", and proceed to numerous diagnostic procedures that, in my opinion, were completely uncalled for. To make matters worse, on eventual follow up when I've asked about test results he has to look back at them and all I get is, ""it was all fine"". Now I consider myself an educated person, so time after time of feeling patronized it didn't take long to decide there was just no way I was going to continue to see someone who obviously didn't have time for me. His schedule is severely overloaded and I just feel there is no way on earth he can keep that kind of pace & still render decent medical care. So, rather than move on to what would possibly be the same situation/different doctor, I decided to give his other clinic with PA Jill Robinson Black a try. The difference is like night and day - literally. Jill is wonderfully professional, does not push unwanted or unneeded tests & procedures, has a nice, quiet waiting roommsetting, and I have never waited more than 10 minutes. They gladly take same day appointments and I am always confident that I've received good medical attention. Oh, and she discusses my lab work with me! So sad that I have to be excited about something that should be routine medical care. Dr. Mark (Josovitz) is a good man but I fear he has sold himself to serving the multitudes poorly when he is capable of being a wonderful man of medicine. His heart is in the right place but after leaving him every time & feeling so totally insignificant, it was time for me to move on & I'm taking my family with me.
