Review content:
My husband and myself was so excitied to hear that the House of Jazz had moved to a nicer place on W.T. Harris. And when we arrived the place was gorgeous. We arrived the first time about 8:00 and were sitted for our dinner. And listened to the live Jazz. The next week we arrived earlier and was told that we could not sit in the room with the stage. Because paying customers would be sitting in there. So we had to sit in the bar area even though we spent over 80 dollars that night. The next week we came a little later and was told by a very rude hostess that we needed to pay 10 dollar cover charge and that the stage room already was full of paying customers so we would have to sit in the bar area. I've have personally never had to pay to sit at a bar. Well needless to say my husband and I left. It seems like everytime we come there is a different rule. Wouldn't it make more sense to just have like a two drink minium for people not having dinner and for people that are having dinner they shouldn't be expected to pay cover charge. The 20 dollars cover charge that we refused to pay wouldn't have been a lose compared to the 80 to 100 dollars that we usually spend. We really enjoy the atmosphere of the restuarant but it would be really nice if they got their rules together. We understand that your trying to keep out the busters but you do have alot of people that are willing to pay for great service.
