This urgent care center is the private practice office of Dr. Kwaw who is very unprofessional. First of all, he kept answering his cell phone calls while he was examining me while I was in severe pain.
I was then asked for a urine sample and the sink in the bathroom wasn't even running with water. Hence I couldn't even wash my own hands. How can the doctor wash his hands with no running water??? He diagnosed me with a bladder infection.
But it doesn't stop there, my pain persisted and I ended up going to another doctor who was referred by a friend. They also took a urine sample and ran some tests, turns out I didn't have a bladder infection but a yeast infection and the pain was caused by enlarged fibroids that they found.
Days later I received a bill from the lab that Dr. Kwaw runs his urine tests for $80. When I called Dr. Kwaw contesting the bill the lab sent me, he wasn't cooperative at all to help me look into the issue. Instead he accused me that I had called him yelling and screaming (which obviously didn't happen) and then he hung up on me.
I am now much better because I went to Dr. Michelle Israel (Beverly Hills). I am so disappointed in this ""urgent care"" service. Not only was I misdiagnosed but I had to deal with a $80 lab bill that I wasn't even informed of. When you don't have insurance and your income is low, these incidents are disappointing.
I hope this will make you aware of the unprofessional character of this office.
