Review content:
I began taking Hot Yoga after the stiffness of arthritis set in and sports injuries left me unable to take traditional flow thru yoga any longer. In addition, a faulty chiropractic manipulation left a clicking sound in my neck that was literally driving me crazy for months. Within two months, Hot Yoga had realigned my neck (no more clicking sound), my joints felt much better, and overall my body felt strong and flexible. I am grateful for this Yoga as it has an extremely healing effect on the body. After any given class you walk away feeling like all the tension, knotted muscles, and stress that you came has just melted away along with all the impurities that are sweated out of the body. I have never felt so rejuvenated and relaxed after any other form of Yoga. In response to some of the older posts here that criticize the instructors and the space, I do not find that to be the case. Hot Yoga instruction is more intense but I do not notice a significant difference at other Hot Yoga studios, and I always seek out other Hot Yoga studios during my travels. I will say that these instructors could do a better job correcting form. I received some of the best Hot Yoga Instruction at studios in NYC and Chicago where the instructor is standing on a platform in front of the class and watches the students like a hawk pointing out the slightest misalignment. In the year that I have been attending classes at Hot Yoga Nashville, I find that the instructors have mellowed significantly, and that may be due to comments such as the ones here. As for the space, I find it considerate that there is a space to take off your shoes immediately upon entering. This is typical for most yoga studios. Everyone signs in at the front desk, which to me, makes sense. The space is always very clean and inviting, and the instructors all seem to very nice. I highly recommend Hot Yoga! As an avid runner and sports enthusiast, I struggled with the injuries my body had sustained that left me unable to get that strenuous workout in that I crave. Hot Yoga has given that back to me as I am challenged each and every time I step on my Hot Yoga mat. Thank you Hot Yoga Nashville for improving the quality of my life tremendously !
