Review content:
Both my cats were patients of Dr. Gappas for a short period of time. I thought she was a good doctor because she is caring and called to follow up on my cats. However after bringing my cat in for a sonogram for her heart (in order to prepare her in getting her teeth done) and than picking her up, she got a cold and began sneezing. She is 12 years old and has never gotten a cold. I figured out why this happened-because of the place! They have about 15 cats walking around (dogs too) and they go outside as well and than come back in! The place doesn't smell like a vet office SHOULD smell like when u walk in-sterilized and clean. Instead it smells of cat urine. Not only that but whenever I go there I have to sit on a magazine rather than the seats since they are filled with cat hair. So I came to the conclusion that since my cat never has gotten sick she before must have gotten sick from one of the cats there-especially going outside. I thought Dr. Gappas was good, but the fact that she allows an animal hospital to be in that kind of condition is a disgrace. To make matters worse, now my other 4 year old cat got a cold as well. We had to bring him and her to another vet and get medicine (I refuse to bring them there anymore). Even after calling Dr. Gappas to complain she first said it is the diet we are feeding them (which is BS because I have had cats for 20 years and none of them have ever gotten sick) but than finally admitted in her own words ""well maybe they did get sick from coming here"". All in all I will NOT be going back there, they are a total disappointment.
