After reading the negative reviews, my wife and I decided to keep our reservations to celebrate our 33rd Anniversay anyway and try it for ourselves. The experience was beyond delightful. I was asked upon making the reservation if we were celebrating anything special. When arriving we were greeted with menus printed across the top with ""Rex and Janet - Happy 33rd Anniversary"". My wife ordered the filet mignon and I had the fried seafood platter. We traditionally try each other's meals. The filet mignon was tender and amazingly tasty. Each part of the fried seafood platter was magnificent! Aftertaste? No way! The wait staff was phenomenal, and I left a previously unprecedented tip. We left the restaurant discussing the need to leave this review. Go to Landry's. You will not be disappointed. And tell them Rex and Janet sent you!
