Review content:
I was very disappointed by the level of customer service and the quality of their work. \r \r When I first entered the store, I was greeted by a very sour-faced woman (which really should have been a good indication for me to take my business else where). I dropped off 6 pairs of shoes for various repairs and she told me that they would be ready by Wednesday (3 business days). I asked her again to reconfirm as the Gables are a bit of a trek for me (I live on MB and work on Brickell). So on Wednesday, when I called to check on their status, I was placed on perma-hold. I decided to swing by regardless and the sour-faced woman looks at me and says, ""No, no, I said Thursday."" - which was a complete lie. \r \r When I finally go to pick up my shoes, I found that they had nicked and torn a small fingernail-shaped hole on a pair of patent leather peep-toe platforms that I had resoled. They had tried to cover it up by smearing liquid shoe polish all over the platfom. When I showed the woman the hole, she put on her glasses and rather dramatically, pretended she couldn't see a thing. (It would have been comical, had I not been so angry.) So she takes it to the back room and I can see her and her male co-worker snickering and hear what I assume were snarky comments in Spanish. They simply dabbed super glue in the hole and then demanded payment. (I spent nearly $200 at their store).\r \r So my recommendation is to STAY AWAY from this horrible place!\r \r Cons: Horrible customer service and workmanship
