My parents have recently retired to this area, and my mom wanted to take me here....I've been to farmer's markets, there's one every week in the small city near me, but this is NOTHING like that at all!\r
\r
Where do I start? The baby animals are so adorable, the annuals are beautiful and they stay pretty hearty all summer, the produce is soooo cheap and delicious (i want to learn how to can so I can can some fresh summer fruits and veggies) and the cheese that they have is the BEST I have ever tasted (besides Brie, I love Brie)\r
\r
The staff is sooo friendly and attentive they answer all of your questions, I think they may even take credit cards as well!\r
\r
All in all, I can't wait to come back here, I usually make it a once a month trip, can't wait to get my flower boxes started as well.\r
\r
Oh yeah and if your time is limited (like mine) and don't have the time to plant a flower box, they have these cute containers already planted with pansies and vinca vines. I bought two last summer. One for my porch and one for a neighbor/assistants porch who was watching my cat. They lasted all summer with minimal watering.\r
\r
PLEASE SUPPORT LOCAL STORES AND COME HERE ASAP!\r
\r
One suggestion too, it would be great to get some Finger Lakes wines in the store as well. I LOVE wines from the Finger Lakes and they're hard to come by here in Connecticut. If this can be done, it would truly be one stop shopping for me. Just a suggestion though :))))
Pros: Fresh produce at cheap prices, beautiful annuals.
Cons: NONE!
