Review content:
This was my second trip to Sweet Georgia Brown and had I written after my first visit (2 years ago) I would have agreed with all of the previous reviews--at that time the place was fantastic. This visit, however, was a major disappointment.
My main complaint is with the food--the quality has gone down. Nothing was great. I had the signature dish--the Trio with lobster, filet, and a crab cake. It was bad--cold, not well cooked, and not flavorful at all. The fried lobster was such a disappointment especially since it was SO wonderful the first time I was there. The appetizers and salads were good, but they don;t make the meal.
The other people I was with had better luck, but the food was just good--nothing out of the ordinary. And it was expensive ($400!!!)
Hopefully this was just a bad day, but I don;t plan on going back.
Pros: ambience
Cons: price, food quality
