I recently purchased a house with over 30 large west facing windows that were installed in early eighties, expectedly my heating bill was over $400 a month. I was looking for a solution that would save energy, preserve views and also reduce heat in summer. My options were to replace windows with Low e ($50,000) or use a window film (Less than $5,000). Being in science field, I researched the options extensively and concluded that the two options are equivalent. I then came down to finding the right company. Glass Technologies has exceeded my expectations in all respects, they explained all the options, had the widest range of films at best prices. The install was done to perfection, I cannot tell if the film is on there, I have already noticed energy savings and the view is unaltered. It is also supposed to reduce glare, for which I might have to wait until summer. Overall this has turned out to be a great decision.
