Review content:
As a fellow dog owner, I was curious about this facility after listening to my good friend talk about her experience with boarding her dog here. So, I decided to do a web search. Not sure I can add more to what the last review was, but it sounds about right. \r
She boarded a few months ago and questioned how her dog was treated and cared for because it took her dog a while to get back to his old happy personality. Her dog was frightened and seemed nervous upon coming home after being boarded at Heavensown Rescue. When she first dropped off her dog at this facility it was spacious and there were indoor/outdoor runs with 1 or 2 dogs in each kennel. But when she returned a few days later to pick up her dog, there were no warm fuzzy feelings about the place anymore. She saw dog crates stacked on top of each other and has no idea if her dog ever saw a dog run or was walked each day as promised. The dog food she gave them wasn’t fully used or maybe measured properly. Many dogs were aggressively barking and some seemed scared because they were stuck with loud dogs in the same run. All she wanted to do was take her dog out of there and go home. After hearing this, I’m confident I will not be sending my dog here or recommending. PS-I see they are also a rescue group. I wonder how those dogs are treated if this is how the client's dogs are treated.
