We arrived at 5:45 and immediately were able to sit on the deck with a party of eight, (point being, they were not very busy) it was after 8 when we left. I decided to go in to the hostess stand to see how long it would be to get a table on the outside deck since we had such a large party.The waiter happened to be standing there and he told us that one table had already paid and the other was finishing up and they would put those tables together and it would be about 15 or 20 minutes. The hostess however was very rude and her nose was stuck to far up in the air it wasn't funny, She had that "" I'm better then you attitude from the beginning"". Anyway, I got my beeper and went back out to visit with my son and his family. We were talking and having a great time, not paying any attention to the time, About 45 minutes later I went to check on our table. The rude hostess said someone that was seated inside, got up and moved outside when that table opened. Rather then tell that customer that the table was being held for another customer, she did nothing, not even bother to tell me what happened and give me the option of being seated inside. At this point I told her I wanted to be seated inside immediately since we had now been waiting over an hour and there were plenty of tables available. There was a table for eight ready right in front of me and she sat another party who had just walked in at that table. When I asked to speak to the manger, He wouldn't even give me a chance to tell him what happened. He didn't apologize or anything, only said that he understood my frustation, I DON'T THINK SO!!! I hope the owner of Tubby's reads these reviews and does something with these rude and ignorant employees. If not, even with the great atmosphere and average food I don't see how they can stay in business. You couldn't pay me to go back to this place.
