Businiess name:  Rue Franklin Restaurant

Review content:
This place is the most over-rated restaurant I have ever been to in my life. Inside, it is decorated like one of those 40ft. Winnebago campers that old people in Palm Springs live in -- mirrored columns, drab green carpet, tacky and tactless light fixtures. Despite the fact that we ordered an expensive bottle of wine (when the waiter did finally get around to noticing that we had been sitting and waiting for roughly 20 minutes), we were still treated like a nuisance. My wife's steak was *very* overcooked, my fish was dry, the flavors were bland at best. And the supposedly ""gracious"" hostess is just a creepy old lady who wants to usher people in and out as quickly as possible. If you rated this place more than one star, then you must have had a totally different experience, although all of my friends have confirmed that this is the general run of things. I will NEVER go back to ""the Rue"" again. Stay away! Pros: Great for rich white people over 70, although no ""early bird"" dinner specials Cons: Everything that could be bad about a restaurant - this place has it.
