Review content:
I am so impressed with Mammoth! We decided to give it a try after all of the great reviews. Leon, the owner, was at the counter when we arrived to pick our order up. You couldn't ask for friendlier service. Our food was ready when we got there, 10 minutes after ordering. This pizza is totally unique and wonderful. The sauce is so flavorful and fresh, and the crust is just chewy but just crunchy enough. I usually have to add garlic and herbs to my pizza, but this was perfect. My fiancee is from NYC, and we just moved down to Raleigh from Manhattan. As said in a few reviews, it's not New York pizza, but it's right up there with it! No doubt, we're definitely heading back. I really think the negative reviews were from competition, I noticed a plug for another local pizzeria toward the end. Don't cut yourself short, try both and see what does it for you. I think Mammoth will win hands down.
Pros: Unique flavor, service, great price for attention to detail.
Cons: None.
