Review content:
We went in and requested a table for six. We had to wait 40 minutes to be seated. Another group of 6 came in for only 5 to 10 minutes. They activated both our pagers. I handed in my pager and waited to be seated. The other group then handed in their pager. The waitress went and sit them before us. The hostess then admitted that she made a mistake and put us in a table for 4 and claim this size table can accommodate 6 people. These were the same set of tables that were sitting there empty for the past 40 minutes and now they can accommodate 6 people. I ask again for a table for 6 and they told me it will be another 30 minutes. No apologies were offered. We walk out and went down the street to another restaurant and had an enjoyable meal. I e-mail Elephant Bar headquarters and complaint about the lousy service and lack of apology. At least it gave us the opportunity to discover another restaurant a better meal at a lower price.
