Businiess name:  Dove Vivi Pizza Deli
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I tried this place after reading the Platter column in\r A&E on 8/10. You can find the column at oregonlive, then click on entertainment, then under DINING click on the Platter column. I can't seem to add a link here. I guess citysearch doesn't want you doing that. Anyway, Zusman has it right. I was surprised to see him name\r my 3 favorite pizza restaurants in Portland in the\r same article. After trying Dove Vivi, it turns out\r that he has named the 4 best in Portland and the 5\r best in the state. Dove Vivi is no east coast pizza,\r and it has nothing in common with the other 4 except\r quality pizza. Open your mind before going here. \r There?s nothing not to like about this place. Of the\r 4 in Portland (and, for those of you who haven?t read\r Zusman?s article, I?m talking about Ken?s Artisan,\r Nostrana, Apizza Scholls, and Dove Vivi), Dove Vivi is\r my new favorite. It is not the artisan style of the\r other 3. But overall, I still prefer the 5th one,\r Apizza in Stayton (New Haven-style pizza). Try Apizza\r Scholls too. It?s worth the wait in line. Apizza in\r Stayton never has a wait, although with the recent\r press (the Statesman Journal mentioned them again in\r the Arts & Travel section on 8/5) their business seems\r to have picked up.\r \r Dove Vivi: Pros: Great pizza, friendly staff, roomy atmosphere. Cons: None!
