Geralds salon is very close to my house and I read some good reviews so I went there for a haircut. The girl I had did a pretty good job on the cut but she had absolutely ZERO personality. I did go back to her a second time and the cut was just ok. I felt very uncomfortable in there as it seemed to be lots of attractive young stylists who stood around staring at themselves in the mirror. I realize that you can't help but look in the mirror at a salon since they are everywhere but this was excessive. Nobody was especially rude to me but they basically all treated me like I wasn't even there. I see it as a bunch of young pretty girls fresh out of beauty school and not yet mature enough to make conversation or make the customers feel comfortable. I also don't like when you have to go to a seperate stylist for color vs. cut. Won't go back. Pros: Easy to get an appointment, very nice receptionists Cons: Drab gray decor, self absorbed stylists
