Review content:
We found Matty B's on the internet without knowing much about it. When I read the reviews on this page, I started to get a little nervous. Thankfully, we had an amazing time! We went there on a Saturday night to celebrate birthdays in the family. The atmosphere from the moment we walked in was classy without being too uptight. Our waitress was wonderful! She really took care of us and told us more about the restaurant and the owner (Matt Birk, MN Vikings player). The owner was actually there and was wonderful enough to talk to us and watch a little of the football game currently on. The food was amazing from the first bite of bread. They had a jalapeno potato bread which was excellent! The wild rice soup was creamy without feeling too heavy. The entrees were all wonderful and had some amazing flavors. Finally, the dessert was a perfect ending to the meal. The banana's foster was fun because they made it table side. Overall, it was the most fun I've had in a restaurant in a long time! We plan on going back again, hopefully soon.
Pros: Great atmosphere, great food, wonderful service
