Review content:
After investigating Matty B's on-line and seeing the wonderful decor, our group was excited to check out the St. Paul supper club. While the decor did in fact impress, the rest of the dining experience was a little disappointing. To start off, our party of seven was placed in the bar because they couldnt accommodate a group our size in the restaurant, despite the fact we had reservations. The food was mediocre at best, especially considering the prices of the meals. We were also told that several menu items were not being served. We were even told at one point that the restaurant didnt have milk! The band scheduled for 7:30 was nowhere in sight when we left at 9:00. While the wait staff was polite, they seemed very unorganized. Id like to give Matty Bs another chance, but considering their pricing, Im not going to risk it. They should really work out the quirks of a new establishment before opening a second location.
Pros: Restaurant decor was beautiful. Convenient parking.
Cons: Unorganized service and below average food.
