Review content:
This is my first Citysearch review and I'm writing because I find it absurd that someone would give this place 1-star because of the supposed high price! I just checked their menu and in order for that person to have reached a $45 bill they would have had to have ordered 3 orders of the most expensive specialty tacos and 2 orders of the most expensive burrito on the menu (about $3 more each than the regualr steak burrito) and then add-on guacamole and extra cheese and then pay tax. They ordered the most expensive items on the menu, threw in some extra toppings, and still fed a family of 5 for $45...in take-out starved Brewster...where you're lucky to feed a single person for $45 at the sit down restaurants...and then complain that it is too expensive!?\r \r I eat here just about everytime I visit the in-laws. My wife and I generally spend a little over $15 total including an appetizer (mmm....cheesy-spicy-corn) for dinner. Their burritos are huge and very fresh with good authentic flavors (lot's of lime, lot's of cilantro, etc...). The tacos are excellent and served with the traditional double corn tortilla not the bland flour tortillas most places try to give you. I'm a pretty big eater and I've never been left hungry after eating one of their burritos.\r \r I am a big fan of Mexican food and this place ranks right at the top of my list both on and off the Cape (bigger and better burritos than Anna's...seriously, and the tacos do an adequate job of matching El Pelon...but that is the gold standard). No, they're not as cheap as Anna's or El Pelon but they're still a great value, especially considering the alternatives (or lack of alternatives) in Brewster.\r \r And no, I'm not the owner as some will probably suspect...I just don't want to see this solid Mexican joint, one of Brewster's only good reasonable, takeout options, get unfairly reviewed on Citysearch (a very influential website that can make or break a place). Pros: Quality of food, authenticity of food, price, open year round Cons: Parking can be tough during ice cream season (it is right next to an ice cream stand)
