Businiess name:  Big Joe's Subs
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
What a surprisingly rude experience. When I asked for their ham and salami sub without the ham on it, the guy behind the counter (Big Joe himself?) snapped to the cashier that they should charge me for a more expensive sub; I said that I didn't want extra anything, just the ham left off, and this person says he won't sell that. I cancelled that part of my order and waited for the rest, all the while this person is very audibly griping to himself and the other workers that it would somehow cost him too much(?) and that he sells ""$5.00 sandwiches to working people"" (not sure what he thought I was, in my knockabout sandals and t-shirt). The sandwich and fries we did get weren't bad, but certainly not good enough to make me want to come back. My advice: go to one of the other sandwich places on the same street - life is too short for mediocre food and people with inexplicable chips on their shoulders.
