Big Joe's Subs

What a surprisingly rude experience. When I asked for their ham and salami sub without the ham on it, the guy behind the counter (Big Joe himself?) snapped to the cashier that they should charge me for a more expensive sub; I said that I didn't want extra anything, just the ham left off, and this person says he won't sell that. I cancelled that part of my order and waited for the rest, all the while this person is very audibly griping to himself and the other workers that it would somehow cost him too much(?) and that he sells ""$5.00 sandwiches to working people"" (not sure what he thought I was, in my knockabout sandals and t-shirt). The sandwich and fries we did get weren't bad, but certainly not good enough to make me want to come back. My advice: go to one of the other sandwich places on the same street - life is too short for mediocre food and people with inexplicable chips on their shoulders. more

This was my first and LAST exeriance at Joes! and its not because of the food or the ""friendly service"" infact we got none at all like i felt as if i was completely shunned! we went to put our order in. sat down with my 2 year old and my friends 17 month old. they only had one booster seat to start off... then we got our food and the kids started eating... may i remind you these are toddlers. a man (who i later fins out is big joe) comes up and looks at the table and yells across the place for another employee to come F(ing) get the garbage can and pick this Sh** up.---- i let it slide. i politely told him we would do it once we finished eating. about 5 min later he came back while we were still eating and grabbed the menu out from under my plate and shook it in my face while telling me ""let me get this Sh** out your way"" then remarked to my friends child that he would be so F(ing) cute if it wasnt for the SH** on his face. at that point my friend husband politely asked as he was walking away if he would please not cus infront of the kids because they mimic everything you say. he blew up.. came over got in his ear and told him what a big man he was and he can say whatever the F he wanted when he F(ing) wanted and repeated sh** a few moe time as he told him he was so big he could have the police there in 30 seconds to hall his ass away.. that was the final straw.. we packed up and left. i dont aprieciate being treated like garbage when i can take my buisness else where WHICH I WILL DO FOR NOW ON!!!!!! more
