The previous 5-star reviews appear to be fake to me. We used Steam Express recently and were extremely dis-satisfied. Now that I've looked for reviews online, I'm kicking myself for not researching the company better before calling them. There are several one star reviews at other sites, and those reviews definitely reflect my experience.
The ads you find in valpak and elsewhere are bait and switches. They will come in your house bring equipment and start working and then discuss various upselling: ""need to sanitize"", ""need pet enzyme treatment"", all extra, so you end up having to pay 3 or 4 times more than expected.
They will start on vent cleaning, and find evidence of mold and try to sell minimum of $1200 mold remediation treatment. The cleaning they do for vents is shoddy, just vacuuming the immediate inside events, upselling returns for extra money, leaving a mess under each vent without cleaning up.
My wife wanted to call them back to clean their mess, but I convinced her we do not want this horrible, shady company back in our house, so we cut our losses. Fortunately rejected the mold remediation even though the guy persisted the whole time they were doing their ""work.""
