Review content:
14 years in the customer service industry, I've never in my life experienced such atrocious customer service. Though I'll rightfully admit, when it comes to salons, I'm sincerely high maintenance after working for the Bumble and bumble. product company and only having my hair done by the best in the industry, I'm pretty particular about the salons I choose elsewhere. As I was preparing for an ""Oscar-style"" wedding where I am a very close friend of the bride, the most formal of affairs with over 400 people, hand painted tables and menus printed on gourmet chocolate, I had my friends from Bb run query after query to try and find me one of the best stylists in ATL (trained at Bumble, by my fave stylists in their salon) Aside from the fact he was 30 minutes late, with my head in the shampoo bowl I was passed off to another stylist to dry my hair, not styled, who only wanted to use American Crew products on my hair. Frustrated b/c I'd made the appt with someone specifically for his Bb training and product use, I was not okay with the new plan. Now while I may sound high maintenance, it's my hair, I'm a new customer, I'm going to a ball wearing the most expensive dress I've ever owned, and I'm definitely going to be particular about my hair, how it's styled and what it's styled with.....when the owner, who was supposed to be doing my hair said, ""This is our salon and we're the ones doing your hair and we're going to do it how we want""....after trying to tell me a product in the Bb line was stronger than the one I had chosen (I taught classes on the line) and I disagreed he suggested that it was best for me to leave the salon....and sent me out the door with my head sopping wet. Thankfully, Van Michaels in Buckhead, welcomed me in the door crying, rubbed my back, squeezed me in, and didn't even charge me....they told me they just wanted me to feel beautiful and have a great time--I'd never send anyone to DHS, but check out Van Michaels: they had customer service to a tee. Pros: Nice receptionist, carries Bumble and bumble. Cons: Obnoxious owner, could care less about his clients. No interest in the clients wants, needs or comfort. Horrific experience
