Love this salon! I highly recommend Peter. I am new to Atlanta and asked for Peter based on online reviews and is so wonderful. He listens to what you want and makes suggestions. I have really long hair and wasn't sure what to do with it and he cut beautiful layers and I love what he did! He is truly talented with hair! He is also so funny and personable. Satisfied Walk in 8/3/2011

I was referred to Joanne by a friend. She told me how she needed color correction done on her hair. So, I came in to see her. She gave me an honest thorough consultation. After I've decidd to try it.. OMG! My hair color was the perfect blonde.. It was very soft and smelled good. She explained to me how to treat my hair and what products to use to make sure the color last and and that I have health blonde locks. Joanne is awesome. If you get to this salon the staff is awesome, and helpful, very nice, and absolutely great, great, great color more

Top Notch Hair Color 8/3/2011

I was a walk-in and I saw Joanne. Joanne is awesome. She colors, highlight, and cut my hair. The prices are really resonable. She leaves me satisfied every time. This is now my 4th time seeing Joanne. She is honest about what my hair needs for not only health but growth. She's awesome!! If you are looking for a colorist or a get hair cut. Joanne is a must see! I always get compliments on my hair. more

Peter rulz the school! 3/1/2011

My husband found Peter Lloyd in our own backyard. After a few successful visits, my husband encouraged me to give Peter a try instead of seeing my colorists in at an overpriced Buckhead salon. Kudos to my hubby! Peter was exceptional. An expert in color!\r \r Sometimes I visit Peter and bring ideas and sometimes I let him make suggestions - I always leave happy. And, if I get home and decide the cut isn't quite right, he's always willing to make the necessary adjustments. He is excellent when it comes to client service and satisfaction.\r \r Peter is also so pleasant to be around. He makes a trip to the salon enjoyable. Honestly, the best head massage in town!\r \r If you want an excellent cut and/or color at a reasonable price, make an appointment with Peter. This is true for both men and women - my husband and I have been seeing Peter for over two years. \r \r Location is very convient to Buckhead, Brookhaven, Chamblee, even the Perimeter. more

Peter Lloyd is the best of the best. 2/17/2011

I have finally found someone who knows what they are doing, and also knows what I want. I live in Orlando and was visiting my son at school in Atlanta and I had some time on my hands and I knew I needed a change. I was looking for the perfect blonde highlights without looking like I colored my hair. Well, I have found the best of the best. Peter knows hair, and he knows what makes a woman look good. He also is very funny and has a sense of caring for the person sitting in his chair. I came back to Orlando and I saw my hairdresser for a trim and he noticed that I had my highlights done and he said "" wow your color is awsome"" who ever did your hair did a great job and knows what he is doing, we all know hair stylist don't compliiment each other. Needless to say I fly to Atlanta every eight weeks and get my hair done by Peter. I love,love,love him. Great sylist, he makes you feel wonderful. What more can a girl want. more

Peter is amazing!! I moved here from NYC 2 years ago frantically searching for a salon like the one I went to for over six years. Peter used my existing Goldwell formula and matched it perfectly for beautiful strawberry blonde highlights. He is wonderful to chat with and makes your hair GORGE! more

Peter Lloyd - Hair Stylist (""The Greatest"") 1/24/2011

I found Peter to my greatest relief...lterally in my own backyard...after years of shellng out top dollar and hopping around to some of Atlanta's alledged 'Greatest"" hair sytlists. I found Peter after reading a great review. I wanted to find a stylist that would not lose interest in my hair after a few dates. I'm at that age where I need to cover my grey and maintain my youthful shade of blonde without my hair looking dried out and unnatural. Thank god for Peter. While he has a point of view...he is honest...and ultimately knows exactly what he is doing and has never steered me wrong. I am a tough customer...but I trust Peter. He knows hair and women...and he knows what looks good...and what doesn't. He is on trend, he is highly talented and skilled and has a one-of-kind personality that is both comfortable to be around and interesting. My hair has never looked better. I just love that Peter! more

Peter is Atlanta's Best Hair Stylist 1/24/2011

I recently moved to Atlanta from LA and feel like I am finally in my comfort zone thanks to finding Peter Lloyd at Dresden Hair Studio. I'm in my mid forties and my goal walking out of a hair salon is to look like I'm in my thirties, and thanks to Peter, I'm down right conceited - kidding!! No seriously I look and feel so great - I have women asking me all the time who styles my hair. I tell him Peter from LA, what a coincidence we're both from the west coast. He's so funny, too,and a great story teller - but don't worry, he's not one of those stylist's who stops working on you while talking - that drives me nuts. The whole studio has a good feeling, nice people. Thanks for making my move to the south a warm, positive and 'looking good' transition. more

Buckhead/Atlanta's Best Salon 1/20/2011

This is simply the most spectacular salon I have ever experienced. The staff is incredibly attentive and professional, more in particularly Joanne. Great hair, great environment, great people! 1/13/2011

Having lived in Atlanta for 9 years and experienced many hair salons including the self-proclaimed best of the best, I am extraordinarily pleased to have found Dresden Hair Studio and, specifically Joanne. There are those stylists who acquire their craft and those who just have that innate ability. Joanne is the latter and accentuates that ability with her keen interest in what you want as the client, and not what she wants as an artist. Against the backdrop of great colleagues (who always greet you as you walk in as well), a hands-on owner, and a warm ambiance you would have no trouble recommending to your mother, I give two thumbs up! more

Beautiful salon with a great atmosphere 1/7/2011

I have been to many salons but this salon is fabulous! Joanne does an amazing job and always knows what style will look good on me! I could not be happier with her. Her haircuts are the best ever!!! Peter at Dresden Hair Studio. . . 10/29/2010

I recently moved to Brookhaven and needed a fabulous stylist close-by. Just my luck to read a review about Peter and take a chance. I have short, ""challenging"" hair and want a style that will not work against my hair - but at the same time - be something extraordinary. Peter listened to what I had to say and then he made suggestions which led me to believe he knew exactly what I'm looking for. I have told him - and now I'll tell you - that every time he's cut my hair - ""it is the BEST haircut I've ever had!"" I enjoy the atmosphere of the salon and the location cannot be beat. There is no one like Heath. He is like a chemist and artist combined. Here is a man who is in his element. Not only does he know exactly what to do each time I describe trying a certain look, but he is able to articulate very clearly what he is doing and why. I have never left the salon disappointed! more

Heath Day is a Great Day! 9/19/2010

Any day that I have an appointment with Heath is inevitably a great day! For nearly three years, Heath has put spring in my step by giving me great haircuts and gorgeous color. While my cut doesn't change much, every time we do color, I put it entirely in his hands and he's never let me down. I always LOVE the final product. Heath is my go to person for creating a new look. I usually come into Dresden thinking that I want something dramatic done, and to be surprised by my new appearance. But I am too chicken usually to go super bold. Heath creates this beautiful synergy between what I look like when I come in and what I transform into when I leave. He makes it just challenging enough for my edge, but never takes me too outrageous. Like the girl below says, I work in a conservative environment and I would not want to shock myself too much. Just beautiful and fresh and new. He does this and always has new ideas. Heath is fabulous! more

Heath Is THE BEST EVER. 9/17/2010

I've been going to Heath at Dresden Hair Studio for quite a while now and he ALWAYS does something wonderful with my hair. He never steers me wrong. Even if I come in and have no idea what I want, he comes up with something fabulous. Heath's hair colors are works of art. I almost never leave with fewer than three shades of red in my hair and I love it so much. I want fun colors but work in a somewhat conservative environment so I can't be too crazy but Heath always comes up with a way to make it fun and interesting without being shocking. I ALWAYS get compliments on my hair. Everyone in the salon is so sweet and friendly - I seriously enjoy my appointments every time. Heath is smart, creative, fun, friendly and an all around great guy. Don't do your hair at home, especially if you want to be a redhead - go to Heath, he's the expert! more

Heath = Amazing! 9/16/2010

You want a great cut? How about phenomenal color? Well Heath is your guy! My girlfriend and I have been going to Heath for years now. I keep my hair on the short side, yet he is able to give me a flexibility in styling options which is a must for me if I'm going to have somebody cut my hair. I'm pretty good at cutting my own hair actually, but this is just something I'm not able to do. The girlfriend on the other hand is a whole other ball game. The colors that he is able to create and blend together seamlessly are the best that I've seen. Period. Do yourself a favor and pay Dresden Hair Studio a visit and ask for Heath. You will not be disappointed! more
