Review content:
My wife and I enrolled my daughter here for toddler class and then for part of her first preschool year. I would strongly advise prospective parents against doing the same.
As a new parent going through my first school experience I had nothing to really compare it with. For those of you in the same boat I'm going to keep things short and simple; this was not a good fit for our child or for us. We found Cindy Wasson, the owner and head of school, to be uncommunicative and defensive to the point of rudeness. Questions regarding our child's experience at the school were rarely answered and our daughter was very unhappy. We took her out of the school after about six weeks of her first semester and found a much better fit at another preschool in Santa Monica.
Of course Cindy refused to refund the balance of our child's tuition for the year (which we had paid in advance). This was frustrating because they immediately filled the vacancy. But the most galling thing about the whole experience was the utter disregard for our child's emotional well-being and the poor quality of her early-childhood educational experience.
I've also posted this review on Yelp.
Pros: None.
Cons: Gives elitist and expensive private schools a bad name.
