It's very hard not to like Vera Fitness: the trainers are great, you feel relaxed from the spa-like ambience, and get a fabulous work out. To be clear, it's not a spa, it's a bona fide training center with a unique training system called Kinesis. The trainers are caring and nurturing but also push you to your limit (and beyond!) And if you're like me, my body adjusts to any workout routine within a few weeks - no worry here because they are constantly mixing it up. If I had more money, I would be going to Vera Fitness everyday! (each session is $40)\r \r The trainers are great and make you feel welcome and motivate you during your workout. Somehow it is a very nurturing and butt kicking experience at the same time. Each workout might include 4 people with one trainer - which everyone probably prefers 1:1 attention, I found having a multiple people not a problem, and with the right group it can be energizing. \r \r Vera Fitness also has a very nice shower facility so it would be easy to go there, workout, and get ready for work, a date, etc. Add bonuses - two incredible stretching machines, cardio machines that allow you to watch TV on the machine or plug-in an ipod, and heart rate monitors. The only con I can think of is the parking - sometimes it can be tough when greenlake is busy on a nice day. But it is worth it and I'm always so happy to be there. Pros: Great staff, cutting edge equipment, and motivating environment Cons: Parking
