Review content:
I've been going to Vera Fitness for about 3 months and I love it. I've lost ~3 inches off my waist and am inspired to excercise regularly outside the sessions. I've travelled a lot this summer and the trainers I've worked with showed me exercises I could do with some easily packable equipment that I've used in hotels and at home. The kinesis machines strengthen your whole body and are challenging but set to your fitness level. The targeted heart-rate approach to cardio has kept me going outside of the gym as well...I'm getting much more out of a 30-minute walk around my neighborhood than I used to! The staff are warm and encouraging, and the atmosphere is very inviting...stylishly sweaty :) And you can book appointments, track your fitness progress, and even keep a food diary that tracks calories and nutrients online. I've been to many gyms before, and can even have a free membership at the posh Pro Club through work, but will keep going to Vera.
Pros: The workout, the staff, the online tools, the non-cheesy girl-power vibe
Cons: Parking on a sunny afternoon
