I'm Japanese (not Japanese American), so let me first make something clear. This is a Ramen place. It's like going to a Hamburger joint. You get Hamburgers, not Hotdogs or steaks. They do have some other things here, but you really need to get a Ramen here, and nothing else. This is probably the most authentic Japanese food you can get in this town. It's good, it's cheap, and it's authentic, what else can you ask for?? My recommendation is Negi (green onions)
Ramen. By the way, Ramen is a noodle in a large bowl of soup. It's kind of similar to Pho in Vietnamese cuisine, but milder tasting. This is a very casual place, akin to going to a hamburger joint. A trip here shouldn't cost you more than $10.
