Review content:
A few weeks ago I noticed that my Dyson Animal has lost a lot of suction. It's about 3 years old and lately I can see a lot of my pet's hair was not coming up from the carpet like it was in the past. I decided to bring my vacuum cleaner into The House of Vacuums in High Point for some advice. I ment with Art who was so nice to deal with. He explained some of the known issues with Bagless Vacuums. It seems the more I wash the filters over time the material actually shrinks and clogs the pores and causes less air flow and poor performance. Art also explained how dangerous bagless vacuums are for anyone with asthma, allergy symtoms related to airborne particles of dust which starts to happen when the filters clog, the dust leaks out of the crevices of the vacuum into the air at about 800,000 particles per minute while vacuuming. I was not ready to by a new set of filters for $50 or more, so I decided to take a look the Miele Cat & Dog vacuum. Art laid down over 150 pennies on the carpet and vacuumed them up in seconds, he also vacuumed up a rag laying on the floor to show how the power nozzle shuts off automatically to save the belt from burning. The HEPA filter bags are only $18 a year which is way less than replcement cartridge filters for baglees vacuums. And the best feature of all is ZERO emission of dust. I will highy recommend my family and friends to do business with the House of Vacuums and will never buy a TOY VACUUM from a BIG BOX store again... I LOVE MY MIELE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\r
