Judge Harter is an AMAZING Judge. If you are truly doing right by your child he will do right by you. Yes, he does terminate parental rights, when it is in the BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD!! If you do not show up to the ""prove-up"" hearing or do not contest, then yeah, your parental rights will be terminated, without an evidentiray hearing. He cannot terminate outside of the law. READ THE LAWS!!! YOU, as the parent, must know what you are doing, regardless of whether or not you have an attorney. He treated me with respect and was extremely nice to both me and my child.
