A recent coupon mailer brought me in to the restaurant on a Friday night. We had been to the restaurant some time before and the coupon for big $$$ off the meal was the only thing that brought us back. Silly me, I didn't read the fine print; ""except on Fridays and holidays."" The waitress informed us bluntly that the coupon was ""not honored on Fridays"" and that I should have read closer. OK, insult to injury, but I pressed on... ""Can you ask your manager if there is any other deal you can extend."" No dice...\r \r We finished our beers and left, NEVER to return! (By the way, my previous trip to the restaurant yielded tiny portions, -0- ambience, mediocre minus service and a plastic sensibility that would be much more in line at a Jimboy's than a pricey fish restaurant.\r \r But the evening ended on a high note as we travelled down the road about a mile to Scotts and had a great meal with excellent service and beautiful surroundings. By my calculations we paid a total of $6.00 more for a much nicer meal and experience.\r \r The sign in Fins announced that they had opened other locations around town... How in the world do places like this stay in business let alone expand? Boggles the mind! Pros: Fresh Fish Cons: Prices, Service, Ambience
