Review content:
I have never written a negative review before but I feel it would be a disservice not take the time to share my utterly disappointing experience at Tommy's. I was extremely excited to not only visit the city of New Orleans but also to inject some cash into the local economy. We asked to order three appetizers to start and our server told us that we must order all of our food at once otherwise the chef would be ""extremely upset"". He also mentioned some sort of house rule but I had already grabbed my purse and informed the waiter we would be leaving and the last thing that I would want to do is upset the chef. There were several empty tables in the place (it was a Sunday night) and I am sure there will be plenty more in the near future. Irene's (near by) was completely booked and now I know why. If you enjoy being insulted by people who depend on your money for their livelihood - Tommy's is your place. If I was the manager of Tommy's I would change my name, put on a baseball cap, buy a bus ticket and leave town. We did had a lovely meal at Emeril's. Pros: none come to mind. Cons: Our waiter was so incredibly rude I had to leave without even trying the food.
