I've been in the horse business in San Diego for over 30 years, and have known Mr. Clews since he was young.\r
I have never kept my horses on his property - nor would I - but I have been to his ranch on business. \r
The sad incident involving the mare that is described in the first review is true, and is no secret among horse people in San Diego. No one was surprised when they heard where it happened.\r
There are many nice boarding and training facilities throughout San Diego county, with wonderful reputations. This place is not one of them, because of the owner.\r
I am writing this review to support what the first reviewer stated. I do not know the writer of the first review, but can vouch for the poor reputation of Mr. Clews. \r
