Do NOT take your mother out to eat at Mimi's on Mother's Day. I have eaten there several times and although their service is generally very lax, I accept that because I am fond of the food. My husband and children decided it would be the perfect place to take me for Mother's Day. Well, apparently their kitchen staff can't handle much of a crowd either because they decided to run a ""condensed"" menu for Mother's Day. If you've been to Mimi's you know they normally have a rather large menu with a vast array of different styles of food. Not on Mother's Day! They had a whole 3 appetizer's, 6 entrees of the homestyle variety (ie, chicken pie, beef roast, etc.), 2 sandwiches and 2 desserts to choose from. That's it!! That's all they had available for Mother's Day!! We had waited for an hour to be seated for this. We left and attempted to visit a few other restaurants but ended up coming home because of the long waits (we had already waited at Mimi's) and I cooked dinner at home. Happy Mother's Day!!\r

Ok, apparently, in regards to the ""chicken pie"" and ""beef roast"" you can't type the word on this sight that begins with a ""p"", has an ""o"" in the middle, and a ""t"" at the end and is only 3 letters long. Great sensors guys!
Pros: Food is good
Cons: Service, management, mother's day menu, staff could care less that you are there!
