Review content:
Having just moved to Raleigh, I'm on the hunt for local stores that carry innovative styles. I think Soho will be one such place for me. My first visit was yesterday, and I enjoyed browsing the racks. They do have some great pieces, but the prices are $$$.
However, I found the owner to be oddly unfriendly (kind of NY cold), and the sales assistant to be less than enlightened. When I admired one piece but said it was too long for me, she insisted it was fine (even though the hem of the dress was on the floor when I was holding it up). I think good customer service in a high-end boutique should realistically assess what pieces look good on a customer and not just try to push pieces for the sale. I like honest feedback and don't think I could get it there.
That being said, I'll probably be back to to peruse the sales racks.
Pros: great lines of different clothing
Cons: customer service off putting
