Review content:
I contracted New Ground (adba Affordable Metal Roofing) for a two story expansion, front porch addition, vinyl siding, full window replacement and metal shingle roofing.\r \r Within one month, the stamped concrete driveway installed by NG/AMR had twenty (20) through and through fissure in the stamped ""brick"" courses and one full, through and through fissure in one of the large, main pads. New Ground had no advice on repairs or prevention and no offers of repair assistance.\r \r In less than six months, the front porch roof was leaking. And, during a thunderstorm, water suddenly poured through a recessed light in the new kitchen. That happened only once, so far, but the porch leaks each and every time it rains at all.\r \r Since the middle of February, I have made the following attempts to obtain repairs from NG/AMR:\r (1) Went to the Pelham office where I had met with the contractor and signed the contract. The office was empty. I was informed that NG/AMR was no longer there. Draw your own conclusions to that little surprise.\r (2) Made calls to the contractor's cell phone. Each time, the call went to Voice Mail, with the contractor's name on the auto message. Each time, I left explanatory voice mails. But, got no response.\r (3) Emailed both NG and AMR at the email address listed on the web sites. But, got no response.\r (4) FAX'd a repair request to the number on the web site. It was received. But, got no response.\r (5) Sent paper mail to the Tuscaloosa address listed on the web site. But, got no response.\r \r In order to save the framing and plywood in my roof and porch, I had to get another roofer - at my expense of course.\r \r If NG/AMR is even still in business, I certainly can not recommend it to anyone looking for a roofing or concrete contractor.
