My family came down to visit for the weekend. When they got here my mom noticed her brake lights were not working on her van. The tail lights worked, the blinkers worked, but the brake lights didn't. I suggested they play it cool and wait to get it checked out until they got home, but my mom thought she might as well just have it looked at incase an accident would occur on their trip home.\r

We went for breakfast that day at a local Perkins, and decided we might as well drop it off at Bobby & Steve's Auto World which was right across the street, to get it checked out. We recieved a call a few hours later explaining the main box that controls the lights of the vehicle was bad and that it'd be $516 to fix! That's right ..... $516!!!!\r

Needless to say we said NO WAY!! and picked up the van. They charged us $50 for the diagnostic, and we went on our way. There was just one problem .... now the blinkers didn't work either! We called them back, and they blamed that same box for braking the blinkers. They wanted us to pay them again to look into the blinkers not working.\r

I finally talked my mom into just driving home very cautiously, now worse off then when we started, with no brake lights AND blinkers. She brought it into the local mechanic and they had it fixed in no time. What was the real problem??? A BURNT OUT FUSE!\r

Not only did Bobby & Steve's Auto World try and screw my mom out of $516, but they also made things worse when we didn't agree to letting them fix it.\r

STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS AT ALL COSTS!!!
