I have never been so offended at a restaurant in my entire life.\r
I ordered a filet, medium-well. The steak came RARE, I didn't even need to say a thing to the waitress- she noticed and immediately took the steak back. I was not bothered by this, it happens.\r
My husband ordered the sea bass and something wasn't quite right with it. He said it was rubbery, not flakey he honestly could not eat it. He told the waitress that something wasn’t right with the fish. He didn’t want to insinuate that it may be possible the fish wasn’t fresh, so he just told her that “something doesn’t seem right with the fish” as politely as possible.\r
The manager came to our table and asked “does the water taste okay at least?” How rude. \r
I didn’t say a thing about the steak and my husband felt really bad about mentioning that he wasn’t able to eat the fish. I immediately placed my check card at the end of the table. \r
I feel justified in writing this negative review because I shared my opinion with the waitress. She was shocked when I told her what the manager said, her exact response was “what?? The steak was rare. I don’t understand- I was the one who said the steak was rare.”\r
In the restaurants defense, my steak was good when it came back (fyi: the baked potato was way too salty), the hostess, bartender and waitress were wonderful. The manager should be replaced. He is rude.\r
I will not be patronizing this restaurant again and will make sure to let others know why. I actually left the restaurant feeling sad that I had been treated this way.
Pros: Good steak.
Cons: Poor manager.
