Review content:
I've been to the House of Bagels for several years, knowing them to have the best bagels in the city. I was blown away by the Pastrami Reuben I had for lunch today. At first, 9 dollars for a sandwich seemed pricy (you can get a half for about 6 bucks), but when this mother load of steaming pastrami and house-baked corn rye came at me, I realized I was getting a steal. Delicious Boars Head brisket pastrami-- awesome!!! They also have a 12 ounces of meat version of each sandwhich (a bit ridiculous).
The pickle was even awesome- imported from the east coast. I got an actual HALF-SOUR pickle!!! I've never even seen a real half-sour pickle in the bay area! I wasn't able to buy pickles to take home but the deli guy told me that they would be for sale soon.
Pros: Real east coast fare, good deal, delicious
