Review content:
As a resident owner for 17 years I love this building. It's true that ,the soon to be replaced, elevators have gotten old as they have in many other high rises. And there are rules ,( which may be changed with enough support). This is typical of many buildings. But basically this is very well-constructed building ,beautifully designed, with a maintenance and security staff that are more like family than employees. The location is superb. It's close to markets, restaurants, the Arts District and the general center of Honolulu's urban life. Chinatown has historic status which prevent the building being torn down changing the character of the neighborhood. I highly recommend this building to anyone who is drawn to life in the city. Pros: location, aesthetics, people, quality of consruction Cons: older
