Sunny, the owner and sushi chef extraordinaire, may not be much on romantic ambiance, but if you want the BEST and the FRESHEST sushi in Nashville, this is the place. This is also the place if you want authentic Japanese dishes. Great service, cold Japanese beers, and wonderful, fresh sushi -- exactly what your favorite neighborhood sushi bar should be. Sit at the sushi bar if you want to experience Sunny's unique sense of humor and engaging wit....or just to watch the chefs prepare some fabulous sashimi platters for the groups of Japanese families and businessmen who frequent the place. Sit in the dining room, and be surrounded by dozens of photos of the famous (and sometimes, infamous) celebrities who also love Shintomi!!!
