I LOVE MEXICAN FOOD, and with the plethora of Tex-Mex, Mexican and even Spanish offerings in the Dallas area MATTITO'S IS NOT ONE OF THE BEST! I don't mind going... yes, chips and salsa are fine, patio is decent... but the service is usually haphazard, and the food quality is so-so. \r

Let's compare.... Manny's, Mia's, Uncle Julio's, ummm... Gloria's even! You can get better so-called Tex-Mex at the Salvadorian restaurant! Another great option low on the radar---Mario's (Lemmon Ave)!! Great service, great menu options, delicious guac, tender flavorful brisket tacos! STRONG margaritas and many to pick from! Not expensive...\r
