As far as diners go I don't usually have very high expectations , but this restaurant failed to impress me in any way shape or form. I was happy to hear that a new place was opening, or I suppose reopening, in Noblesville as I'm sure many other locals were. That being said, before I decided to try it out for myself all I had heard were mostly negative things about it, primarily about the staff and service. It is small and quite cramped which is not in and of itself a really bad thing , but it didn't seem to work here. Though they had plenty of staff on (more than such a small place would ever seem to need) service was still only fair though the waitresses were nice enough. My real complaint was with the food. After reading about the place being opened by a young chef with some good ideas about fusing traditional diner food and more modern cuisine I was excited. Unfortunately the menu failed to reflect much of the latter. I decided to go for one of my favorite guilty pleasures, biscuits and gravy and added on the hash browns and over easy egg. It was described as a giant biscuit with plenty of house made gravy. What I got was a normal sized biscuit that was really more like a roll since it was not at all crispy on the outside or flaky on the inside but rather kind of soft and chewy. It did come with plenty of gravy but unfortunately this was probably the worst sausage gravy I have ever had. It was not savory at all but more like a sweet paste in which I could barely detect the flavor of the sausage. I would rather just have biscuits and gravy from a fast food place than these. The hash browns were pretty standard and the egg was ok even though it came scrambled instead of over easy as written on the menu. Even though it is not expensive i felt like I got ripped off. Maybe this place is just trying to find its identity since it just opened, but I'm guessing that it won't stay open for long if they're unable to improve service or the quality of food. Pros: Serves breakfast in Noblesville Cons: The food!
