In crisis and called Dr. Shafas office for help. The secretary was insesitive, somewhat rude. At 60 she requested my entire life's medical records. i indicated that my last 'breakdown' was in '87 and she could not be clear as to what the Dr. needed. Was more worried about getting sued. Insulted and dissapointed to the max. made an appointment for June 8th 2010.. then found an office that really knows how to deal with the 'clientele' that calls. Fired the Dr. before I began, \r

I do not reccomend. Also too long a wait and could care less if it was emergent. Rude Office!!\r

Her attitude did not contribute or even come close to handling folks in pain with a modicum of sensitivity and as a result her boss lost a patient.
