Review content:
99% of the pupppies that Steve's sell come from puppy mills. NO \r
responsible breeder would ever sell their dogs to a pet store. \r
\r
Pet stores get most of their dogs from Hunte Corporation who is a broker \r
that gets most of his dogs from puppy mills. The employees may also tell you that their dogs come from places that are USDA licensed breeders ... those are puppy mills , please go to the website prisoners of greed and search hunte corporation in that website or broker.\r
\r
\r
\r
If the employees at Steve's tell you they get the puppies from local\r
breeders, get the address and check it out. The address of the local\r
breeder would probably be somewhere in Ohio or Missouri (big puppy mill\r
states)\r
\r
The only reason to breed is for the betterment of the breed ... not as a\r
cash crop.\r
\r
Animal lovers have been writing letters and talking to Steve for years \r
to stop selling these mill puppies to people that don't know any better. \r
Even people who do know better buy one thinking they are saving that one \r
but another will take it's place so the horrible cycle continues as long \r
as the public keeps buying. If there's no buyers for these pups there \r
would be no reason to keep churning out these ill-bred puppies.\r
\r
In the meantime the parents of these cute little puppies are suffering in\r
cages 24/7, no human contact, no vet care, inadequate food, never touched\r
grass, unsocialized and bred until they can breed no more and are usually\r
destroyed.\r
\r
THe way to stop this is through education and legislation. DO NOT BUY \r
THAT PUPPY FROM A PET STORE for God's sake and the mill dogs sake!
