Gave an initial quote of approx $100.00 for transformer for pool heater. said they had to order.
Called next day and said transformer was $273.00, and they couldn't guarantee that this would fix the problem.
Tried to sell me a new $4900.00 heater.
Found the Exact same transformer online for $33.31 with expedited shipping.
That is a 900% mark up !
Hire Standards ""Alan"" told me this was a normal mark up practiced by everyone in the industry.
NOT in MY book !
I ordered the part and installed it in 10 Minutes.
Problem solved.
Will NEVER do business with them again!
Will also tell ALL of my friends about them and their unethical practices !
