My husband and I have been tanning at Mimi's for over 2 years. YES, its great to have a choice b/c I wouldn't tan anywhere in Raleigh due to the fact that I have never received the same service I get at Mimi's, anywhere else! They treat you like family, always greet you with a 'hello' and I always get a 'Thank you' when I leave. There is PLENTY of parking, there are a few other businesses beside Mimi's but I have NEVER had an issues with finding a place to park!! Maybe its the whole southern hospitality that I grew up with, but Mimi's has always made me feel at home and welcome. I know they appreciate my business as much as I appreciate being able to tan at a place I trust! They have great prices and 2 new turbo beds that I just love! I feel the person that made the comment below about her child being allowed to tan without an ID, may be a little mislead by their teenager! When my husband and I first went, we both had to show our ID's and we are both in our late 20's! So it was obvious we are of age, and since I have been going, I have never seen a kid walk in and tan without having to fill out the sheet and show ID. Also, the comment from 'Lola B' about the 'weight' of the manager, that was just uncalled for and immature. If you are going to use these websites to post reviews, lets atleast have a little class and keep the slanderous comments to yourself.
Although I have nothing to gain from this post, I just want everyone on these websites to be completely informed, and the only way to do that it to make sure future clients get the 100% truth!!
Pros: Treat you like family, extremely clean, great atmosphere
