So you know, I don't write many reviews. But I can't resist sharing what I believe is a gem in Sherman Oaks. When I first went I was blown away by Il Tiramisu. Service ? A++. Atmosphere ? charming, personal, romantic, and warm. The owners greet you at the door and during our first visit they recommended a great bottle of wine to go with our meal. I had the phenomenal osso bucco. Falls off the bone, unbelievable! My wife and I have returned many times since our first visit last Summer. At this place the owner and his Father have an uncanny way of making everyone feel as though they are the most important guest. Literally. The waiters are highly attentive but we barely notice it at the same time. I almost never have to pick up my bottle of wine to refill my glass. And the wine selection is excellent, BTW. If you live in the Valley or find yourselves in Sherman Oaks, I highly recommend stopping into Il Tiramisu on Ventura and Woodman. I guarantee you?ll have a phenomenal experience. Plus, if you like Italian and the personal touch that seems to be missing these days, you should definitely try Il Tiramisu. Trust me, you?ll go back!!
